Hit a big Training Max triple from 13”!
515x3! And for the second time in this training cycle, I over pulled my 1st rep, lost the tripod foot position and lost balance. Dialed back in for the next two reps. Was scheduled for a double. Previous best was 505x2 with the Kabuki bar. From what I can tell from still comparisons, looks like a 2” difference in the flex of the Kabuki Pr DL bar compared to the Texas DL bar.

And for tempo and training density I am a huge fan of 3 movement Medley’s. They are great for excess volume, conditioning, hypertrophy, lean body mass, readiness, post activation performance enhancement, finishers. You name it what you want, there is a huge return for those that train for athletic based development.

I have created several templates for plug and play and sometimes its just shoot from the hip!

The “Drive for 5” is well on it’s way to being accomplished

Yesterday’s session hitting a 497 double gives me the ability to accomplish my goal on a second attempt and leave the 3rd for a bonus.

I was very happy with this session because arousal level was much lower than the 465 triple session. That session was the one I needed. Today was put in the work in a business like manner similar to my 540 13” pull session

Now time to mentally and visually prep recover, heal up, and kill my accessory work to dominate on competition day.

Do Not, Do Not neglect the posterior shoulder capsule. If training for team sports or strength athletics, building in posterior shoulder medleys as readiness or finishers is highly recommended. I prefer 3-4 movements for 15-25 reps for 2-3 rounds up tempo >15:00 and rhythm tempo for reps.
